Eczema

Eczema (also called dermatitis) is a type of skin disorder or allergy to the skin. It mostly attacks palms, knees, arms and face. It is commonly seen on the other body parts too. It generally attacks the tender skin of infants but could be widely seen among the adults too.

There are many types of eczema:
1. Atopic Dermatitis: This type is most common and generally occurs to children below 5 years in age. Most of the people inherit atopic eczema from their family members.
2. Contact Dermatitis: This type occurs due to the contact between skin and detergents, old items, etc. When contact leads irritation to the skin, it is called irritant contact dermatitis and if the contact leads to an allergy to the skin, it is called allergic contact dermatitis.
3. Seborrhoic Eczema: On the one hand it affects babies at the nappy region and spreads very quickly but on the other hand it also affects adults in the form of dandruff.
4. Varicose Eczema: This is common among old aged people. It is caused due to poor circulation. If it is not treated properly, it may lead to the formation of an ulcer around the region.

Cause Of Eczema:
1. Eczema may spread from parents to children.
2. Allergies due to soaps, detergents, and other chemicals.
3. Temperature and environmental changes are also responsible
4. Nutritional deficiencies.
5. Frequent contact of the affected area with the sweat.
6. Environmental pollution, dry air, certain toxins, also add to the causes.

Symptoms Of Eczema:
1. Itchiness on the skin
2. Red blisters
3. Rough skin with swelling which sometimes contain watery fluid
4. Excessive dryness and cranks on the skin

Precautions for Eczemic Patients:
1. Adults should keep a check on the blood sugar level. It is seen that it takes very long time for diabetic patients to cure even small traces of eczema.
2. Use glycerin soaps and avoid any contact with the detergents as their harshness may worsen the eczema.
3. Keep a check on the dryness of the skin. Apply cream soon after bathing to moisturize the skin so as to keep it extensively hydrated.

Home Made Remedies for Eczema:
1. Take the leaves of jackfruit. Apply some ghee (clarified butter) and then tie the leaves on the eczema.

2. Crush ajwain (Trachyspermum copticum) with water and apply the solution on your eczema. It will get cured in a few days.

3. Take the seeds of onion (the middle part), crush them and apply them on your eczema. After 8-10 weeks your Eczema will get cured.

4. Take 1 mg roasted Cumin seeds, 10 gram crystalline sugar. Mix it with the juice of lemon and after grinding drink it daily twice , once in the morning and once in the evening. Your Eczema will surely be cured.

5. Take some leaves of neem  (Azadirachta indica) in some water and boil. Clean your eczema with it and then apply an ointment of lemon juice grinded with the leaves of tulsi (Ocimum tenuiflorum). Eczema will be cured within some time.

6. Take some purple soft leaves of neem  (Azadirachta indica) and cook in oil for quite some time. Apply this oil on the eczema and you will surely profit from it.

7.Take some purple and soft leaves of Neem (Azadirachta indica). Take out their juice and mix with some crystalline sugar. Drinking this purifies your blood and helps you get rid of itching,pimples. eczema etc.

8. Take the juice of the leaves of tulsi ( (Ocimum tenuiflorum) and ghee and mix it very well in a bronze vessel. It will surely cure your eczema.

9. Take the roots of spinach and grind with lemon juice and apply it on eczema to cure it.

eczema is known to be a chronic skin disorder characterized with red, scaly even sometimes blistering, crusting, oozing , it can be treated, or at least remedied at home.
